Small and medium-sized businesses (<500) with operations in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, or Italy (whether it’s in one of them or several) can have their payroll streamlined and automated by PayFit.
This fast-growing company provides hands-on expertise for each locale, making sure that you’re adhering to the rules and regulations that you need to before you press the button that will automate your payroll. You don’t need to be an expert to make sure you’re paying people and taxes the proper way.
Once set up, you can tweak at any time or calculate things like taxes and overtime with just a few clicks. Their modern-looking platform can also generate accounting reports, receipts, and serves as a tool for other HR functions such as benefits management, onboarding, leave & absences, and more.
PayFit also has capabilities for:
Getting started with PayFit is fairly quick as far as the software goes, since it’s cloud-based. However, there is an implementation phase since the team will request all your past payroll info, as well as contracts and other accounting paperwork.
Naturally, timing varies depending on the scope of each project, but to give you an idea, a company of 30~ employees can be up and running within 20 days or so. They’ll also provide training within 1-2 sessions, since the software itself is pretty intuitive and easy to figure out.
Upon signing up for the service, PayFit will assign a payroll expert and customer success rep who are familiar with the rules and regulations of the places where you’ll be working. These people will truly try to provide white glove service and guide you through every step of the way.
To give you an idea of the level of attention to detail, during the onboarding phase, they’ll set up your version of the tool in function of the city and province your teams are in, even setting up the calendar to reflect local holidays.
PayFit doesn’t currently have native integrations, but they are working on an API. Further, reports and payroll journals can be downloaded in several formats (PDF, XLS, etc.) so you can easily upload them into other accounting software.
PayFit currently focuses on digital enterprises or offices that are trying to digitize most of their operations. They currently don’t work with many businesses in retail or the food service industry.
PayFit’s pricing varies depending on which country or countries you want to run payroll in, your employee count, and the number of modules you want (in addition to the base payroll, which is standard for all plans). Hence, the best way forward is to request a demo.
