iKrut Review

iKrut is a web-based ATS and recruitment software that enables businesses to streamline their hiring process. The software features include content-rich job posting tools, customizable candidate management, and onboarding.

iKrut is an ATS focusing on helping startups and enterprises better their recruitment experience for both their hiring team and candidates. The software's functionalities support you throughout the recruitment process, from building an employment brand for talent attraction to a customizable workflow for a positive candidate experience.

As for talent attraction, iKrut allows you to build content-rich job descriptions, branded career pages, and unlimited job posts and users. Plus, you can post jobs on several platforms. Whether it's social media, free or paid boards, the system will store all of them in one place for you.

Regarding candidate management, the software lets you track applications right after they're submitted. You can also move them through your customizable recruitment stages. Plus, the advanced talent features allow you to access candidate profiles and surface their whole history, including applications, summaries, hiring team feedback, and communication history.

To help you achieve a more efficient hiring process, the system equips you with several automation tools, including rejection email bulk, messaging, background checks, and psychometric testing. The internal job approvals and adjustable user access levels are also available for you to work collaboratively with your team, thus, speeding up the candidate selection process.

We should mention the onboarding feature of iKrut as well. With this functionality, you can automate tasks, including uploading the offer letter, getting it signed digitally, and allocating tasks to your team. They can be done in the new hire onboarding portal without third-party tool integrations.

iKrut's paid plans provide substantially more functionality; however, the free version is still a pretty good offer for small teams to start.

Who shouldn't buy iKrut

As iKurt currently only supports English, it may not be the best fit for companies in non-English speaking countries. Also, compared with similar ATS in the market, the Premium+ plan’s price seems less competitive. Another thing to note here is that the software isn't really suited for larger companies looking for enterprise-grade robustness, AI-based features, advanced security, and customization.

iKrut Customers

Over 55 companies use iKrut as their applicant tracking tool. Most of them have under 50 employees and are located in English-speaking countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

iKrut Key Features

iKrut’s key features include:

  • Job distribution and social posting: With iKrut, you can customize your company’s career site to display your vacancies and promote your employer brand. Furthermore, the software lets you share your vacancies across various other job sites and social networks, giving you greater visibility. You can track the performance of your posted jobs and received applicants in one place with iKrut’s dashboard.
  • Candidate management: iKrut stores every interaction, note, and development with candidates on its platform. You can also have it automatically disqualify candidates via its bulk rejection tools. In other words, it builds a talent pool for you. With the search bar, you can recycle your own talent hub by searching through the software for stored resumes.
  • Customizable workflows: With iKrut, you can build a candidate workflow the way you want while reducing the manual work for your HR team. Be it sending messages, questionnaires, assessments, or interview scheduling, the system features have it all automated for you to streamline your hiring process.
  • Self-service portal: Select the type of access permissions accordingly to people in and outside your business (if any). Engage the hiring managers and entire team in the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding: The software leaves room for you to craft your content and workflow to build an onboarding process that matches your company’s culture while creating the experience for your new recruits.

iKrut Key Integrations

With the free plan, you can integrate your iKrut account with some talent platforms like Indeed, Jooble, and the Predictive Index. However, to enable the HR/payroll integrations, you need the Premium+ plan.

iKrut Pricing

iKrut offers a free plan that allows you to post unlimited jobs, create unlimited users, and access an editable iKrut-powered career site and all applications. The software also has two paid options: Premium and Premium+.

  • Premium has a fixed price. Regardless of your company’s size, the Premium plan charges you £300 ($340) per month or £3,000 ($3,400) per year. It gives you access to substantially more functionality, including posting up to 50 job vacancies in the next 12 months, customizing candidate workflow in your way, and providing basic reports.
  • Premium+ price depends on the size of your company. The bigger your team is, the more you have to pay. It starts from £400 ($450) per month or £4,500 ($5,100) per year. It has everything from the Premium package plus other advanced hiring tools, such as background checking, compliance, and onboarding.

On top of that, you will get up to a 20% reduction off iKrut’s standard pricing for a multi-year deal. There is also a reduction for paying monthly upfront, yet you need to contact their team to get the details.

How Has iKrut Changed Over Time?

iKrut Implementation

iKrut is cloud-based, which means getting started with it is relatively easy - no downloads or hosting is necessary. Typically, it takes them 2-3 hours to review your application. Once approved, you will receive an email to create a password, then you can log in and start testing its 28-day free trial.

After the registration, the implementation time varies depending on the account type and functionality you wish to use. Getting the core functionality operational shouldn’t take you more than a couple of hours. If you want to use onboarding, that would take a little longer depending on how immersive or content-rich you want the experience of your hires to be.

iKrut Customer Success

Email is the only channel available for free plan users to get help from iKrut’s team, while 1-1 on-demand training, unlimited phone and email support options are offered for Premium and Premium+ customers. Premium+ customers get priority phone support. Do note though that phone support is available until 5 pm GMT, and email support is available until 11 pm GMT.
