VidCruiter is best interview scheduling software for organizations with more than 100 job openings annually and already or tend to use other VidCruiter products, rather than just the scheduler alone.
We would determine, with the leader of the department we were hiring in, what basic questions we wanted to ask all qualified candidates, including required questions we had created as an organization. We then had a variety of HR members record themselves asking these questions to put into VidCruiter. We then assigned the interview questions to the proper job postings, and as long as we funneled a list to VidCruiter of the qualified applicants, they would handle inviting those candidates to respond to these questions. We were then able to review the videos on our own time, save them and share them with the leaders, and follow up accordingly. It saved us a lot of time compared to the traditional phone screen method.
The interface for admins was very easy to use, and it was easy to set up new questions and to record ourselves professionally. We also found it easy to overlay our company logos so that the process aligned with our branding. The ability to watch back the interview responses was great, along with their easy-to-use rating scale.
In a previous organization I worked with, we bought VidCruiter because we had an onslaught of recruiting needs that took up a lot of time for our recruiters. We had basic questions we needed all of our applicants to answer, but due to time constraints, we were only able to target maybe 15% of the applicant pool at a time. With VidCruiter, we were able to set up a basic video interview of pre-recorded questions that we could automatically send out to all qualified candidates, without needing to schedule individual interviews with them. The tool was easy to use and to rate candidates on their responses. Plus, it integrated with our ATS, making it easy for applicants to transition to their platform.
Some users had issues with the technology required to complete the video interviews. This caused us to lose out on some candidates because responding to a video interview not only requires some technical acumen, but it is also a little less personal than an actual phone call. The video also had some lag issues with us in the past, both in recording new questions and listening to responses. The design of how to navigate the back end of the website could also use some work.

The last thing you want for your applicants is to force them to log in to multiple systems, to have to redo any part of their application process, or to feel like their candidacy is not being taken seriously. Find a vendor that can integrate well and gives a positive experience for your candidates.

As long as you have your video conferencing tool(s) linked with myInterview, your availability will auto-show as light green. We used Google Meet, and the time slots came out nicely. Pick some from these, name your interview, and set the duration. Then, the invite will swiftly go to the candidate’s inboxes as you hit ‘Send Invites’.
This approach is not as useful for one-way video interviews, though, where you tend to have dozens, if not hundreds, of invites to send for each job. Thankfully, myInterview has some automation baked in.
The interview scheduling platform lets you invite up to 200 candidates at a time, set timezone-minded interview deadlines, edit email text, and set reminders. It now even supports SMS invitations, a promising feature to boost your candidate completion rates.
However, we found that myInterview’s customization is not as good as some competitors such as GoodTime. While the email content is editable, there’s no option to customize the email signature or text format. As a result, you may have good content yet rather bland-looking emails.
When it comes to interview scheduling handled by chatbots, myInterview’s Taira is on par with Paradox’s Olivia. The only part where it falls short is it only speaks English, while Olivia does 100+ languages.

As per its name, MyInterview is a relatively new cloud-based tool for streamlining interviewing. We utilize MyInterview to shortlist candidates while allowing the resourcing team to add comments and send out invitations for video interviews for certain roles. We add feedback and attach the CV, forwarding it to the hiring manager for the role in question. It allows us to send information to multiple stakeholders and track responses efficiently. The tool is particularly helpful in managing and organizing the interview process from start to finish.
Three main benefits of MyInterview are its simple, clean look and user interface, making it easy to use and train staff on. Customer support is good and timely, with a quick turnaround on issues. It is one of the most cost-effective tools on the market, particularly in Australia.
We have used MyInterview for over a year across all divisions. It was initially purchased for bulk recruiting campaigns when we won a contract and had large numbers of roles to fill with a short turnaround time. Once a contract is won, sometimes the project will need to start within a 2-4 week time frame, and this is painfully challenging unless group online interviews using tools such as MyInterview are utilized. MyInterview helped us achieve a start date within budget.
It is a new platform and has some room to improve. It does not allow group interviews, which can be problematic for larger organizations or if you need it as a one-off. If used overseas, customer service may be less effective if issues need to be escalated. Lastly, while some may see it as a pro, I am not a fan of using AI to determine candidates' responses. I believe a human touch is necessary for this task.
MyInterview is fully Australian-run and owned, which appeals to us as Australians who like to support local start-ups. I think for an Australian company, this is a great option as some of the international brands don’t have customer service representatives online during Australian business hours, which can dramatically affect working ability if you have an issue that needs immediate attention.

HireVue’s scheduling tool impressed us right off the bat. It’s fully automated and incorporates conversational AI, which actively engages with job candidates. This hands-on functionality empowers candidates to self-schedule based on their availability—a feature that no doubt proves incredibly valuable for hundreds of its users managing virtual career fairs and graduate hiring events.
HireVue isn't just about scheduling. Unlike GoodTime, which heavily focuses on this aspect, HireVue offers video interviews, assessments, conversational AI, and text recruiting, making it an all-in-one solution for recruitment automation tech. But what really caught our attention was its customer support: a super-responsive implementation team that assists us every step of the way, and CSM available 24/7, in over 20 languages.
HireVue’s pricing primarily targets larger companies with at least 2,500 employees. While we understand that it’s unreasonable to expect a low price from an enterprise-centric tool, we found its starting price ($35,000 per month) quite pricey compared to most of its competitors.
We’re also a bit disappointed about the scheduling tool’s native integrations. Since HireVue is also an HR solution oriented to large organizations, we anticipated built-in app connectors to be as strong as VidCruiter or Paradox. However, HireVue only has a handful of connections, and most of them are ATSs.

We use Hirevue to screen candidates for our customer service positions in our retail stores. We can populate our own questions, indicate how long they will have to read and respond to each, and specify if they can retake them. Hirevue allows us to add comments and review candidates so that if they apply again, we know what happened or why they were not selected. We can also provide an immediate response if someone was selected for the role or not. This tool is used regularly as part of our hiring process.

The reliability of this system is a no-brainer as this is something we expect from any system we use.
Lastly, having a system that is easy to manage is probably one of my biggest criteria. Hirevue is a system that anyone can learn to use rather quickly, especially for candidates. Doing a video interview where you need to record yourself for this new chapter in your life can be very nerve-wracking. Not having to worry about how to work this tool when you have to do this interview helps a lot!
