  • TestGorilla features a friendly UI that’s easy to navigate. The platform is also fairly easy to implement and anyone is able to create an account for free to test it out. 
  • Candidates don’t need accounts to take your test. They can access the test from the email invitation you send them. 
  • While TestGorilla’s full test library is only available in English, over 40 of their tests are now offered in other languages, including Dutch, German, Spanish, and French.
  • Users cannot view the question bank in full or choose the questions that go into tests. A proprietary algorithm does that instead, to ensure that TestGorilla’s stored questions are used at an equal rate by users. when a question is used too many times, it is archived and replaced by a new question. 
  • Candidates cannot directly communicate with the employer through the platform.

TestGorilla is an online pre-employment assessment platform that allows companies to hire qualified candidates while reducing unconscious bias. This is achieved with TestGorilla’s library of over 230 scientifically validated tests, purposely created to assess candidates’ cognitive abilities, language proficiency, personality and culture fitness, situational judgment, role-specific skills, and more. The platform also allows you to add custom questions to which candidates can submit video or text responses. 

Candidates don’t need to create accounts to access your tests; they can do so from the email invite you send them after identifying themselves by name and relevant email address. Once candidates complete your test, the platform automatically grades and ranks them according to performance, and displays the results in a single screen for easy reference. You can also sort candidates by name, average score, rating, or last activity, as well as export reports in CSV format.   

To crack down on cheating, TestGorilla has several measures in place. These include automatically taking snapshots of candidates as they’re being tested, notifying you if a candidate exits full-screen mode, disabling copy-pasting, and preventing candidates from attempting a test they’ve previously taken.

Another great thing about TestGorilla is that is mobile optimized. This means employers can build and review assessments on the go, and candidates can submit their answers from any device.
