Introduction

We spend hundreds of hours researching the best HR and recruiting software so you don’t have to. We never take money from vendors during our research phase and rely heavily on practitioners and experts to help us recommend the right software. However we may earn a small fee if you click on vendor links on this page.
NEI Global Gateway is one of the few platforms that successfully balances intuitive technology design with support. Clients can log in, authorize moves, and navigate the system with minimal guidance, while HR teams benefit from a configurable dashboard that surfaces real-time program data. The shared interface between clients and NEI staff also stood out to us as a smart way to streamline collaboration, especially in high-touch, complex programs.

We received a full demo of NEI Global Gateway and also spoke with several customers to better understand how it performs in real-world use. One thing was immediately clear during testing: the platform is highly intuitive. In fact, NEI shared that some clients had already submitted move authorizations before their demo walkthrough even began. That level of ease of use set the tone for the rest of the platform experience.
The dashboard is cleanly laid out and responsive. We found no issues self-navigating between key modules, from policy approvals to cost tracking and employee progress. Real users echoed this sentiment, noting that the tool “just makes sense” and reduces the learning curve for both HR teams and transferees.
One detail we especially appreciated was the shared system environment. Because NEI’s internal teams and client administrators use the same interface, there’s a built-in alignment that speeds up collaboration and helps avoid communication missteps. That shared vocabulary came through clearly in both the product demo and our conversations with users.
The transferee experience is equally thoughtful. From the guided onboarding wizard to the visual relocation timeline and mobile app, NEI has designed the platform to reduce stress and uncertainty during the move. Users can operate independently but always have direct access to their dedicated support team.
That said, this platform is not the perfect fit for companies with minimal mobility needs, as its design is geared toward large-scale, policy-driven relocation programs. And while the platform is strong on structured workflows and visibility, it doesn’t support Zapier integrations that some lean teams rely on.

NEI supports Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies in aerospace, media, energy, finance, and manufacturing, though names are not publicly disclosed.
NEI offers fully custom pricing based on relocation volume, policy complexity, and service scope.
NEI Global Gateway is best for mid-sized to large companies managing complex U.S. and international relocations that require both technology and hands-on program support.
