PwC UK Reports on the Economic Impact of Returning to the Office

PricewaterhouseCoopers’ UK headquarters released an in-depth report on working-from-home versus returning to the office. The analysis covers multiple aspects of economic impact, from consumer behavior to worker productivity.

The report’s findings reinforced that work-from-home flexibility is here to stay. In its wake comes the potential for a redistribution of economic activity away from cities. Despite this, PwC does conclude that returning to the office offers compelling economic benefits.

Intrro Releases Version 2.0 of Talent Sourcing Solution

Intrro released an updated version of their employee referral tool. The software uses machine learning to unearth promising talent in current employees’ networks that may match open positions.

The company added integrations, workflow automation, and smart referral suggestions to foster more personalized talent pools for organizations. The update follows a successful pre-seed funding round earlier this year.  

Workday Launches Inclusive Workplace Solution VIBE

Leader in enterprise HR applications Workday Inc. announced a new solution to help HR teams advance belonging and diversity initiatives. The solution, called VIBE (Value, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity, is split into two platforms -- VIBE Central and VIBE Index.

VIBE Central brings all diversity and inclusion data into one centralized place in the Workday HCM, allowing companies to set goals and monitor performance. Measurable metrics include hiring, promotions, leadership and attrition. VIBE Index lets HR leaders create a broader belonging and diversity strategy, allowing companies to analyze their impact on a higher level. VIBE Index offers belonging & equity insights, intersectionality reporting and parity and equity evaluation.

Lattice Unveils New Employee Development Tool Grow

On September 16, performance management software Lattice launched employee development tool Grow. The new platform puts employees in charge of their own professional journey.

Managers are able to create a transparent roadmap to success, allowing employees to understand the goals and expectations required of them to grow within their organization. Lattice Grow will integrate with previous offerings Performance, Engagement and Analytics to round out their toolset.

CareerBuilder Announces 3-Year, $300M Upgrade of Talent Acquisition Suite

Job board giant CareerBuilder committed $300 million over the course of 3 years to upgrade their existing platform. According to CareerBuilder CEO Irina Novoselsky, 74% of companies foresee an increase in spending on HR technology over the next two years. “We’re doubling down on a market ripe for disruption,” she said in a September 15 press release, “an area where our customers are experiencing the greatest need.”

Job seekers on CareerBuilder will now benefit from further integration with the company’s Talent Discovery Program, redesigned mobile apps, SMS integration, and easier posting for remote jobs.

Learning Platform Kahoot! Joins Forces With Actimo

To strengthen their corporate learning and training solutions, Oslo-based Kahoot! acquired frontline employee engagement platform Actimo. CEO of Kahoot! Eilert Hanoa says the acquisition will allow customers to elevate learning, strengthen culture, and increase employee engagement.

Together with Actimo, Kahoot! will extend Kahoot! 360, the company’s product for corporate learning scaled to enterprise, to fit the needs of today’s HR, internal communications and learning and development teams.
