Jobspider Review

Job Spider provides a no-frills approach to the recruitment process. While many other sites try to sell their users on additional services or partner products, Job Spider keeps advertisements at a minimum.

This keeps the focus strictly on connecting job seekers with potential employers while minimizing any technical issues or challenges that are sometimes present on other sites. Job seekers who simply want to start browsing opportunities right away – without having to jump through a bunch of hoops – will find some value in Job Spider’s interface. Since it was modeled to resemble the original Craigslist site, the interface is already familiar to some users. Also, much like its inspiration, job posts are completely free of charge.

Job Spider currently offers thousands of different jobs in a variety of industries. This makes it fairly easy for job seekers to find opportunities that match their qualifications while letting employers categorize their new job listings appropriately and maximize their online exposure. Candidates can also use automated job alerts to receive notifications whenever a new job is added that matches their criteria.

Employers have multiple methods to connect with potential recruits. Their basic job posting service is the default means, but they also allow employers to browse or search their online database of uploaded resumes to find the perfect candidate for the job.

While the interface for Job Spider doesn’t provide much aesthetic appeal, it does serve its purpose. Given the number of legitimate opportunities posted on their site on a daily basis, as well as the number of resumes in its online database, there is certainly a lot of potential to fill the openings on your roster.

Who shouldn't buy Jobspider

Job Spider is quite limited in terms of features. There's not much to it besides manually posting jobs and searching resumes. It isn’t suited for large enterprises that require integration with third-party software and service solutions. It’s also not meant for employers seeking recruits outside of the United States or Canada.

Jobspider Customers

Job Spider’s customers include Donmich Corp, Business Information Technology Solution (BITS), Inc., Inster Canada, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, and Blue Shark Transport.

About Jobspider

Job Spider was founded in 2003 to provide an intuitive and organized job board that’s free for job seekers and employers alike. The board itself was modeled after Craigslist, thus providing an interface that is already familiar to many users.

Unlike its inspiration, however, which accepted ads from all over the world, Job Spider focuses solely on the job market – primarily within the U.S. and Canada. Open opportunities are categorized into various sections, with some of the available options including Accounting / Bookkeeping, Advertising, Automotive / Mechanic, Banking / Mortgage, Cashier, Computer Hardware, Data Entry / Word Processing, Driving / Delivery, Engineering, Executive, Insurance, Military, Part Time, Payroll, Shipping / Receiving, Trucking, Welder, and more.
