Eloomi is a cloud-based platform with a host of tools for performance management, employee onboarding, learning management, and 360 feedback. Eloomi's engagement surveys enable managers to get regular feedback from employees and identify areas where improvement is needed.

To encourage the achievement of specific goals, the software offers real-time feedback results and the ability to add points, rewards, and certifications.
For onboarding, Eloomi helps you streamline the process with automated workflows, learning paths, easily digestible micro-sized lessons, and a pre-built onboarding program. You can also choose to create an onboarding program from scratch.

Eloomi also helps with compliance training of new hires and enables access from all devices. To increase participation and competition rates, you can assign points, badges, and certificates.
The built-in course builder also makes it easy to create and distribute courses. In addition, you get access to pre-designed course templates, interactive component formats like quizzes, texts, images, videos, and more, and the ability to export and upload the SCORM files to Eloomi’s LMS system.
Going beyond the average e-learning platform, Eloomi gives you a real-time visual of how your employees are responding to training courses, so you can adjust and improve lessons on the go. You can always stay abreast of your goals using tools and reports like learner progress, engagement, and interaction completion.
You can gain a lot of insights about your employees from the reporting and analytics module. Through it, you can understand the strengths and weaknesses of your employees, and identify areas where they might need to improve. Custom reports can be filtered by demographics, roles, learning, and skills – making it easy to find the information you need to make informed decisions about your workforce.
There’s a “People Dashboard” that provides an overview of your employees’ current goals and objectives. Managers can drill down to see overviews of specific departments or individuals based on company hierarchy. You also get quick access to templates for coaching conversations, ensuring ongoing feedback with manager-employee check-ins and feedback processes with email and SMS notifications
Aside from seeking feedback from employees, you can use Eloomi’s My360 tool to request feedback from your peers and colleagues.

Eloomi was more integrated into our workflows when we first implemented it, but after setting up some basic modules, it became more of a maintenance task in our backlog. We primarily used it to shorten the onboarding period, helping transition new hires from pre-hire status to fully functional team members. It was critical for getting employees up to speed on essential business processes. After initially setting up high-priority modules, we explored expanding its use cases but ultimately didn't have enough time with it to delve deeper.
- Eloomi has a sleek, user-friendly interface that is easy to teach employees to use.
- Eloomi is straightforward to maintain as an administrator.
- Customer service at Eloomi is excellent.
We used Eloomi at my former employer. The organization wanted an entry-level LMS to cover learning, onboarding, and other "journey" needs. The buying process largely came down to what features the organization could afford, and for a small organization, it was essential to prioritize cost-effective features that would help bring new employees up to speed without exceeding budget. I personally used it for about six months.
- It has limited flexibility compared to more advanced LMS options.
- Pricing is somewhat high, considering the features offered (in my opinion).
- System speed can lag at times.
Eloomi is well-suited for companies that need a robust LMS for relatively simple needs, with a focus on user experience and accessibility. It’s also a good "set it and forget it" option, requiring minimal ongoing management.
- Consider your LMS priorities and how you plan to use it.
- Determine the scope and importance of training in your organization.
- Evaluate the learning curve and impact of the user interface, as well as the level of customization you require.
Eloomi has made progress with API and integrations to enhance accessibility in LMS. They have focused on gradually improving core learning functionalities while staying true to their primary features.
Eloomi is ideal for organizations with a few essential learning processes that need a robust, user-friendly LMS, allowing for minimal ongoing maintenance.
Eloomi is not suitable for organizations with a high volume of users requiring extensive customization and a flexible user interface, particularly for those planning to use their LMS across a wide variety of applications.
The client uses Eloomi to monitor team skills, leverage skills more efficiently across teams, track progress in upskilling and reskilling, and identify talent needs within the development and product teams. They also use Eloomi to identify high-potential employees and support their development.
Additional Uses:
- Custom Learning Programs: Design and implement learning paths tailored to employee needs, covering skill development, leadership training, industry certifications, and product knowledge.
- Goal Setting and Tracking: Leverage performance management tools to set individual, team, and organizational goals, with real-time tracking of progress and performance metrics to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Personalized Learning Paths: Provide employees with personalized learning experiences to help them grow in their current roles and prepare for future opportunities, enhancing engagement by showing a clear commitment to their development.

- Ease of use for both administrators and employees.
- AI functions generate a critical framework for training programs.
- Integration with existing platforms is seamless, and it includes performance management, collaboration tools, reporting, and data analytics.
I evaluated this platform for a client who made the purchase. The client needed a tool to support employee development and client learning for their rapidly growing business. Additionally, the platform needed to have API integration, analytics, and skills intelligence as they prepared to implement strategic workforce planning.
Pain Points:
- Decentralized and fragmented learning platforms
- Limited employee engagement in career mobility through learning and development
- Challenges with onboarding new employees— inconsistency and misalignment of expectations
- Lack of tracking and oversight for skills aligned with regulations and compliance for individual roles
- Lacks customization options and deeper analytics in reporting, which could be helpful as the company scales.
- The integration options work for the company now, but they will likely outgrow these in the next two years and need to look for new options.
- The cost is relatively high, which could prompt the company to consider alternative tools in the future.
We also evaluated Docebo, but at the time, AI capabilities were less of a priority for the client. I believe Docebo could be a future opportunity for the client, as I have recommended it for clients seeking stronger analytics and AI-driven capabilities.
My client’s top three priorities when looking for a similar tool are user experience, integration, and ramp-up time. Cost is also critical, as my clients are scaling startups accountable to investors, which means they need to get the most value for their spending.
Eloomi has expanded its integration options and improved its mobile experience, significantly enhancing the user experience. However, the cost remains a factor, driving a stronger need for the platform to increase its value, which it appears to be doing.
Eloomi is ideal for professional services, tech startups, and SMEs.
Eloomi may not be suitable for large enterprises with complex HR needs.
Eloomi is probably an overkill for small and medium-sized businesses that have under 50 employees. It also isn’t the most affordable solution, so if you’re on a tight budget, it isn’t the best fit for you.
Eloomi’s customer list includes BONUS Vorsorgekasse AG, Breakout Games, Carne Group, ElectricBrands, Nufarm, Domino’s, and more.
- 360-degree feedback: Eloomi allows you to get feedback from employees, provide your feedback to them, and get feedback on their skills and performance from external clients and managers. You can also share this feedback with other members.
- Training automation: You can create training material using templates from their library, build your own from scratch using Eloomi's course builder, or import it from somewhere else. Employees can take these training courses in bite-sized modules, depending on their role.
- Engagement tracking: You can analyze your organization’s engagement level by getting all members involved in the feedback cycle.
Eloomi integrates with several third-party business solutions including Salesforce, Snowflake, Qualtrics, Jotform, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Eloomi offers custom pricing, so the best way to find out how much it costs is to request a demo.
Eloomi is for HR leaders and managers of mid-sized and large businesses to make onboarding easier for employees, engage them through frequent feedback, and track the progress of their personal development.
Eloomi offers several self-service options, including Blog, Free E-Book, Videos, and Presentations.
In 2015, Eloomi launched as one of the earliest platforms to connect learning, performance management, and feedback. By 2017, they had grown their customer base to 150 clients across multiple industries. Fast-forward to 2022, they are gearing to open their first office in Orlando, USA, and already have offices in Copenhagen and London.
Eloomi's goal is to connect learning and performance, so organizations can speed up the onboarding, upskilling, and reskilling process for their employees.
